Michigan NORML Joins Fight to Legalize Marijuana in 2018

Marijuana activists across Michigan are gearing up for a renewed effort to legalize marijuana for adults 21 and up. Last week the Coalition to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol took the first steps to qualify their new proposal for the 2018 ballot by formally submitting language to the State of Michigan for review. If approved, Michigan will become the ninth state to legalize marijuana for adults 21 and up.

This Weekend In Seattle: Earth’s Largest Pro-Marijuana Law Reform Rally

Seattle, WA: Event organizers are expecting to break attendance records this weekend for the 21st annual Seattle Hempfest, taking place this Friday through Sunday at Myrtle Edwards Park along the downtown Seattle waterfront. Hempfest has drawn crowds in excesses of 250,000 people over the three day ‘protestival’. One of the main focuses of this year Hempfest is Washington’s legalization voter initiative, Initiative 502.
