Nevada NORML’s Veteran’s Virtual Lobby Day
To honor both those who have bravely served and those who still suffer due to federal cannabis laws, Nevada NORML will be hosting a unique event on Veteran’s Day. The virtual lobby day, a lobbying event done entirely through electronic means, will raise awareness of the many federal pieces of legislation that could benefit veterans.
USDA Issues Hemp Regulations
Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell, who spearheaded the 2018 law change, said that the USDA’s latest actions “will help farmers around the country continue pioneering this crop into the 21st century. … There will inevitably be ups and downs as this new industry develops, but today’s announcement is another crucial step (forward).”

Poll: Two-Thirds of Americans Support Legalizing Marijuana for Personal Use
An estimated two out of three Americans believe that cannabis should be legal for recreational purposes. Support for legalization was strongest among self-identified Democrats (79 percent) and Independents (71 percent). By contrast, fewer than one in two Republicans (46 percent) expressed support for legalizing cannabis.
Court Dismisses Case Demanding DEA to Move Expeditiously to License Cannabis Cultivators
